In the past, due to the topography of the Sauerland region, only particularly sporty colleagues came to work by bike. Since e-bikes have become available and Schmale Maschinenbau GmbH offers its employees job bike leasing, more and more colleagues are taking advantage of this option to get to work quickly and inexpensively. But the bikes are not only used for work. Many also use their e-bikes in their free time and some colleagues now even regularly spend their free time together on the mountain bike trails in the region.
