However, this Schmale team achieved the reliability price a few days ago. During the final acceptance of a special machine, they came to a machine availability of 99.67% during the 8-hour acceptance operation.
The short downtime was caused by a butterfly that flew through the light curtain and thus triggered an emergency stop of the system. Then it had to be checked briefly whether the machine continued to run without any problems.
Unfortunately, this butterfly effect destroyed the 100% machine availability.
